San Kham Paeng Hot spring



San Kamphaeng Hot Spring, Chiang Mai is situated 23 km from San Kamphaeng district and 36 km from the city. The spring is located in scenic surrounding of spectacular hills and large and shady trees. Vachiratharn Waterfall



Vachiratharn Waterfall is a popular waterfall in the Doi Inthanon National Park. It is one of the most visited waterfall in the national park. Also called Tad Khongyong, Vachirathan Waterfall is part of the Doi Inthanon Waterfall. It is about 750 meters above sea level. On its opposite side is Pha Mon Kaeo, a steep cliff.

Wat Phra Singh



Wat Phra Singh, located on the west side of Samlan Road, within the old city walls. The main entrance, guarded by two enormous dragon-like "lions," is directly opposite the end of Rajdamnern Road and the old name called 'Wat Lichiang.' Wat Phra Singh has the most complete version of Lanna Chappel and is home to Phra Buddha Sihing, considered Chiang Mai's important and sacred Buddha mage.

Wat Chediluang



Having gained recognitiong as one of the greatest pagodas of Chiang Mai, Maha Chedi Luang is a castle-like structure combined with bell-shaped pagoda features. It reflects the transitional period of such structures, featuring early Lanna style architecture of the 14th century.

Wat Suan Dok



The 14th century temple of Wat Suan Dok is located just west of the old city walls on Suthep Road. The temple was built by King Keu Na of Lanna for a revered priest visiting from Sukhothai as a place for the monk to spend the rains retreat. The name of the temple roughly translates to "field of flowers."

Chiang mai City



Chiang Mai (Thai:Th-Chiang Mai.ogg เชียงใหม่ (help·info), Lanna (local): เจียงใหม่), also sometimes written as "Chiengmai" or "Chiangmai", is the largest and most culturally significant city in northern Thailand, and is the capital of Chiang Mai Province. It is located some 700 km (435 mi) north of Bangkok, among some of the highest mountains in the country. The city stands on the Ping river, a major tributary of the Chao Phraya river.
